It just occurred to me...
So many of my favorite things in one picture:
Plaid, Family (complete with a very angry looking father), Campfires (fire in general), a kitty, veggie dogs, mustard, spring time, the fire pit that Grandpa and I made when I was very young, and birdhouses where I can hone my new bird watching skills.
Yes, it has been a productive summer thus far.

Bird watching?!! After all those cruel jokes and refusal to do so in Halifax?! You'll never live this down :o)
ps-By the way you now have no choice but to go bird watching with me upon our return to the east coast!

Oh man!! I will go bird watching with you! It is quite a bit more fun that I remember it being with the grandparents. Will we be able to invite our friend Mr. Yellowtail?
